Tracey L. Goddard, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner · Paradigm Wellness
Tracey is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner with more than 30 years in
healthcare. She is passionate about helping people optimize their health through
prevention, personalized care, and evidence-based medicine — and she believes the
best care begins with listening, building real relationships, and partnering with each
patient toward long-term health and wellness.
Across her advanced-practice career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Tracey has
cared for patients in neurosurgery, endovascular neurosurgery, interventional radiology,
internal medicine, clinical research, and tobacco treatment — and, most recently,
the comprehensive evaluation and optimization of high-risk surgical patients. Working
with medically complex patients and identifying modifiable risk factors before major
surgery reinforced her conviction that many chronic diseases can be prevented or
improved with earlier intervention. That experience shaped her focus on preventive
medicine, metabolic health, and healthy aging — and on partnering with patients to
optimize their health for the long run.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Austin Peay State University; Master of
Science in Nursing, University of Alabama in Huntsville. Before advanced practice, she
worked as a registered nurse for 17 years.
A longtime Middle Tennessee resident, Tracey has called the Nashville area
home for more than 30 years and raised her two children here. Outside of work she enjoys
strength training, nutrition, kayaking, and time outdoors.
